Job Description
: Organizing and supervising the design, operation and maintenance of the telecommunication links and equipment in line with the recommended standards and performance levels for the telecommunication support for the fields. Prepares and monitors first and second line maintenance of vital communication systems/equipment. Prepares specifications for telecommunications service contracts and required equipment/services and perform the Annual Maintenance Contact for Telecoms critical equipment in order to maintain high availability and reliability. Supervise Telecom specialists and Technicians and co-ordinate with Abu Dhabi team. Follow-up all installation, maintenance, commissioning and operational activities for a variety of telecommunication services to various users. Supervises and monitors contractors workforce carrying out repairs, installation and commissioning of existing and new equipment to ensure adherence to approved Telecoms standards/Codes and compliance with provision of contracts Prepares technical specifications and scope of work to approved standards for various Telecoms projects, evaluate technical bids and prepares evaluation reports. Recommend and implement appropriate solutions for operational problems/anomalies of Telecommunication Equipment/Systems at Field.
