Our agility and efficiency enable us to exceed customer expectations with remarkable speed and precision.Job Summary:As an Engineer II, you will embark on an exciting journey of detailed design and development of inertial and hybrid navigation systems. You\'ll be responsible for crafting sensor mathematical models and navigation algorithms, documenting them meticulously, and creating simulation code to bring them to life. Your role will involve optimizing navigation algorithms, testing system performance, and supporting integration into software simulations and target computers. Additionally, you\'ll have the opportunity to mentor and guide Junior Engineers, fostering their growth in navigation technology and analysis.Key Accountabilities:
Understand project requirements and specifications, planning objectives and deliverables within project timelines.
Contribute to the design and analysis of inertial and hybrid navigation systems, developing detailed algorithms and performing error propagation and covariance analysis.
Develop sensor error models using mathematical equations and code simulation models to verify performance.
Optimize navigation algorithms, generate \'C\' code for embedding, and support evaluation during integration.
Write land vehicle test procedures and manage laboratory and land vehicle testing to analyze performance.
Guide, coach, and train Junior Engineers to develop their capabilities in navigation technology and analysis.
Experience & Education Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in algorithm development, simulation, and modeling in a navigation environment.
Bachelor\'s degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Preferred 8 years of similar experience with regional industry exposure.
Preferred Master\'s or Doctorate degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, with certification in control systems and optimal estimation theory.
Proficiency in developing navigation systems and algorithms, implementing simulation models and software, testing navigation systems, and analyzing inertial navigation systems.
Programming experience with C, C++, Matlab, and/or Simulink code development.
