As an Engine Overhaul Technician - EEMC, you will mentor mechanics and carry out Assembly, Disassembly, Cleaning, Inspection, Repairs, Refurbishment, Testing, Troubleshooting, modifications and rectification on all types of aircraft engines, engine systems, engine components to a high standard at the EEMC, to hold approval to certify own tasks in accordance with Airworthiness requirements of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and in accordance to company procedures.In this role, you will:Create a safe working environment for all staff, display a knowledge, and confidence to work safely, provide support and direction for all co-workers. Be a role model for the desired safety behaviours and always lead with safety. Ensure reporting any non-conformance in safety and quality immediately via company procedures.Ensure all allocated tasks given by lead Technician / Engineer and Line Manager are completed as per the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) data and EEMC documentation and procedures.Monitor the activities and work of peers and Mechanics, where necessary provide mentoring and guidance to ensure that work with is carried out safely and efficiently.Complete tasks accurately by utilising knowledge of the engine overhaul process, company procedures as well as the use of the ESM, IPC, CMM, SB's and AD's ensuring paperwork and MRO ERP (IFS) system tasks are completed progressively and in accordance with company procedures.Apply knowledge of tooling and equipment and facility to carry out the tasks in a safe manner to the highest of quality standards.Ensure attendance is in alignment with sectional shift pattern, actively participate in all meetings, projects and use skills and knowledge to contribute to improvements to process, increased efficiency or better practice.To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
5+ years in aviation maintenance environment as an Aircraft / Engine Technician with a reputable airline or MRO company.
Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organisation or Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License (with 7 years experience).
Engine Assembly & Disassembly:Experienced and competent in arrival / incoming inspections and health checks inclusive of Borescope inspections, removal and installation of components, external ducts and plumbing, engine mounts and major modules, ability to use measuring equipment and carry out any calculations to confirm serviceability, additionally competent in visual inspection.Competent and experienced with reviewing / understanding / actioning Airworthiness Directives (AD's) and Service Bulletins (SB).Module Assembly & Disassembly:Experienced and competent in module and sub module disassembly and assembly, inclusive of balancing, stack prediction and ability to use measuring equipment and carry out any calculations to confirm serviceability, additionally competent in visual inspection. Competent and experienced with reviewing / understanding / actioning Airworthiness Directives (AD's) and Service Bulletins (SB).Cleaning:
Experienced and competent all types of cleaning of piece part/modules/ engines and components. Inclusive of Chemical, Mechanical and hand cleaning. Competent and experienced with reviewing / understanding / actioning Airworthiness Directives (AD's) and Service Bulletins (SB).
NDT (Non Destructive Testing):
Experienced and competent all types of Non Destructive Testing of piece part/modules/ engines and components. Inclusive of FPI, MPI, USI and ECI. Competent and experienced with reviewing / understanding / actioning Airworthiness Directives (AD's) and Service Bulletins (SB).
Inspection:Experienced and competent in all types of inspection of piece part/modules/ engines and components.Competent and experienced in identifying all defects and assessing against ESM limits, assessing repair possibilities and dispositioning accordingly.Competent in use of all measuring equipment inclusive of CMM, Farrow Armand Shadow Graph. Competent and experienced with reviewing / understanding / actioning Airworthiness Directives (AD's) and Service Bulletins (SB).Repair:Experienced and competent in all types of repairs of piece part/modules/ engines and components. Inclusive of bench fitting, machining, etching, painting and composite repairs.Competent in use of all measuring equipment and visual inspection.
