He/ She must through his research and analysis will develop corporate Sustainability Strategy to ensure that business process and practiced are aligned with government rules and Regulations. Energy & Sustainability Manager needs to ensure that all the process, equipment, products, and services are environmentally friendly and in line with international sustainability standards.Energy & Sustainability Manager will also be acting as an Energy champion to develop Energy & Water Management Strategy to be incorporated in all business processes related to clients including but not limited to:To deliver and support on projects / operations in line with the Transguard Energy Management Policy and Strategy.This includes Energy audits, Utility monitoring. Utility Saving Projects. Asset condition surveys highlighting low performance of assets impacting energy.Financial
Manage environmental projects (e.g., recycling programs, energy reduction initiatives and other similar programs)
Provide detailed Cost benefit analysis and business cases for improvements to client and group for approval
Prepare the operational & performance parameters baselines of each project to qualify its sustainability impact
Ensure data capture is accurate and is set up appropriately for reporting metrics to management
Must be able to Measure and Verify Energy, Carbon Emissions & Water consumption data
Completion of all supporting documentation such as project brief and communication plan
Support financial budget and forecasting, provide financial appraisal of conservation measures to determine business justification and ROI
In depth analysis of consumption data, assess trends, report consumption data, and provide recommendations for improvements to client
Establish utility consumption baseline and conduct benchmarking against industry standards
Provide energy management solutions for bid support, this may include bid writing and technical presentations to external clients on Energy/Utility Management
Customer
Work closely with stakeholders to plan, develop, approve, and execute local projects and enterprise-wide campaigns
Regular engagement with Senior Manager and client leadership Team to determine project priorities and deliverables
Coordination between internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables are in accordance with BU and Transformation scope and objectives
Liaise with facility managers, property managers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance to energy management policy, conduct training sessions and create training material where necessary
Assist Facility Managers and Senior Manager in establishing project requirements and undertake feasibility studies
Responsible for supporting Facility Managers and Senior Manager for executing saving projects with documentation, and verification of savings as per approved case study
Inspire and work with the team and others to create a successful project management function
Provide coaching and guidance to team members to ensure everyone understands their role and tasks and can act on them efficiently
Ensure team have the skills, capabilities, and support to do their roles effectively
Ensure the team provide accurate, timely and consistent reporting to ensure measures and metrics can be reviewed on an on-going basis
Ensure the compliance of LEED, Green Building Guidelines and be able to perform Energy Modelling
Prepare the strategy to reduce Carbon Emissions and Aim to have NET ZERO Emissions Goal
Process
Define energy management strategy and supporting policy for efficient use of utilities, utilities include but are not limited to water, sewage, electricity & waste
Develop a programme and conduct energy use audits (ASHRAE L1, L2 andL3) that links to the Energy policy and Environmental policy ensuring each TG client has detailed report and action plan to reduce utility consumption (Energy, water, Waste)
Create energy star rating matrix for all client facilities and assets within facilities
Work in partnership with support functions (Communication/ HR/ Procurement/ IT) to ensure the correct policies and procedures are in place and maintained to support the Sustainability Strategy
Review of service agreements, contracts and provide your feedback to procurement and legal departments on the sustainability aspects
Innovation
Engage with industry professionals to keep up to date with new trends and technology
Develop the IOT technology for different asset
Introduce new products for DEMO and technology related equipment to Group
SkillsSelection Criteria
Graduation in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, FM or Sustainability, CSR)
Compulsory LEED, CEM or CEA and CMVP certified
Minimum 5 years experience in Energy & Sustainability field with compulsory 3 years on management position leading the team
Data Analysis, Strong Energy Management Knowledge
Extensive knowledge and well versed in Sustainability
Prior knowledge of LEED, Green Building Guidelines
Previous experience in Sustainability Industry
MS Office Suite, BMS Experience
CAFM system, Green Building Guidelines, Energy Modeling
