Job SummaryThe Corporate Emergency Response and Preparedness Mangers duties are related to Supervising or Performing research or other professional and scientific incident investigations or development of fire protection operation during projects and operational plants. Assignments include designing of major disaster plans for a deferent emergencies, operational or construction inspection, Fire tools, operation, maintenance of firefighting or fire protection apparatus, appliances, devices and systems. They will be leading & evaluating Firefighters/Fire Officers as well as Establishing training programs, evaluating and the Emergency Response Team members and Evacuation team.Responsibilities
Administrating and assisting other fire officials (e. g. Fire Specialist, Fire Engineer, Safety officers and firefighters and any others that report to them) in the international team to implement the fire protection & Education programs
Ensure alignments, compliance and flexibility in regard to best practices
Inspect and support all NOMAC's HOs International and train the staff as applicable
Provides technical assistance to management, contractors and subsidiaries personnel through subordinates in regard to interpreting and complying with Fire codes and standards
Leading, supervising and evaluating team
Evaluates the fire and emergency preparedness, to ensure highest standards are followed
Ensure that, the suitable recommended & developed training by ERP&FF GM are implemented for the emergency response team and other company employees as required
Create, Review and implement all site fire, ERT and emergency policy & procedures
Demonstrates continuous effort to monitor and improve the NERPI&S (Nomac's Emergency Response Preparedness Improvement & Sustainability) operations and program as applicable
Evaluates long term contractor's performance in meeting company requirements and objectives, interprets existing standards, develops new standards and advises on property protection and public safety
Establish the ERT selection, evaluation and elimination criteria as applicable
Review and administrate the Major and Joint fire drills seniors and provide post drill recommendation
Establish, review and recommend changes on ERP for site specific needs
Review and support sites regarding PRs raised for Fire suppression, Protection and detection systems as well as PPE, fire equipment and fire trucks
Perform other duties as assigned by CHSSE-Director, CERP/FF GM and/or Higher management.
Qualification, Experience and Skills Required
Bachelor's Degree in chemistry of fire
10 -12 years In services
Excellent inter personnel skills
Leadership skills
Fire Hazard Risk assessor
Sufficient fire prevention knowledge and skills.
Plan review experience to demonstrate possession of the knowledge and abilities listed above.
Certificate of registration as a professional fire protection required
Fire Fighting Operation, HAZ-MAT, Rescue and First Aid
