We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated ELV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Light Vehicle Driving License and demonstrate expertise in a wide range of ELV systems including Cat6 Structured Cabling, Fiber Cabling, Network Equipment, CCTV, Access Control, Audio Systems, Public Address (PA), and Automated Technologies (AT). The ELV Technician will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Cat6 Structured Cabling systems according to industry standards and client specifications.
Proficiently handle Fiber Cabling installations, terminations, and testing procedures.
Install, program, and troubleshoot Network Equipment including switches, routers, and servers.
Setup, configure, and maintain CCTV systems for surveillance and security purposes.
Install and integrate Access Control systems to regulate entry and exit access points.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Audio Systems, Public Address (PA), and Automated Technologies (AT) for various applications.
Conduct regular maintenance checks and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and functionality of ELV systems.
Respond promptly to service calls and perform troubleshooting procedures to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of installations and adherence to project schedules.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding ELV systems operation and functionality.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and service records.
Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical Certification in relevant field preferred.
Valid Light Vehicle Driving License.
Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining ELV systems including Cat6 Structured Cabling, Fiber Cabling, Network Equipment, CCTV, Access Control, Audio Systems, Public Address (PA), and Automated Technologies (AT).
Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to ELV systems installation and maintenance.
Proficient in using testing and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting ELV systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites as required.
