Job Summary:

As an ELV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various low voltage systems, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

Installation of Systems:

Install and configure various ELV systems such as structured cabling (CAT6, fiber optics), CCTV, access control, public address (PA) systems, and other low voltage systems according to blueprints, specifications, and industry standards.

Testing and Commissioning:

Conduct testing and commissioning of installed systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies during testing.

Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform routine maintenance on ELV systems to ensure they are operating efficiently.

Respond promptly to repair requests and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement solutions.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.

Prepare reports as required by supervisors or clients detailing work performed and any issues encountered.

Compliance and Safety:

Adhere to safety standards and regulations when installing or working on ELV systems.

Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.

Customer Service:

Interact professionally with clients and end-users to provide excellent customer service.

Communicate effectively regarding project progress, timelines, and any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an ELV Technician or similar role in the low voltage systems field.
• Technical knowledge of various ELV systems such as structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and PA systems.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in installation, testing, and repair of ELV systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Certification or training in relevant fields (e.g., electrical systems, low voltage systems) is a plus.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional technical certifications or vocational training is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
