What you'll be doing:
1. Project Planning & Management:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Define project objectives and deliverables in alignment with client requirements.
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
2. Technical Oversight:
Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, SMATV, Intercom, Audio/Video, Structured Cabling System etc.
Ensure compliance with local and international standards
Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
3. Team Leadership:
Lead and manage project teams comprising engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
Facilitate regular team meetings to track progress and address challenges.
Provide mentorship and training to team members to enhance performance.
4. Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
Address client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
5. Procurement & Vendor Management:
Source and evaluate vendors for ELV equipment and services.
Manage procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency.
6. Budgeting & Cost Control:
Prepare detailed project budgets and monitor expenditures.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Ensure timely invoicing and manage project payments.
7. Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, submittals, inspection reports, and O&M manuals.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ELV
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, SMATV, Intercom, Audio/Video, Structured Cabling System etc.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Software for shop drawing preparations.
- Familiarity with local and international standards related to ELV systems (SIRA, TRA, ADMCC, Sharjah, regulation etc.).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
