Job Title: ELV and Telecommunication Pre-Sales Engineer

: We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Pre-Sales Engineer to join our ELV and Telecommunication division. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our solutions' success by providing expert technical support to the sales team and ensuring our clients receive the best-fit solutions for their needs.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client needs and tailor technical solutions accordingly.
• Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to gather requirements and gain a thorough understanding of their ELV and Telecommunication needs.
• Design and develop customized technical proposals and solution architectures that align with client objectives and leverage our product portfolio.
• Solution Design: Utilize your technical expertise to design and propose optimal ELV system solutions that meet the client's requirements. Study Tender documents and Prepare system layouts, BOQ, equipment specifications, and cost estimates while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Design & Engineering of IP and Analogue CCTV System, Fire Alarm, PA System, Biometric systems, ACS systems, Burgular Alarm systems, Structured Cabling, Passive and Active Components, Lighting Control System, Digital signage and smart screens, SMATV and IP System, PABX and parking barrier system based on the drawings & technical specifications.
• Prepare Project layouts and As-Built Layout drawings in any version of AutoCAD (2D, Isometric, & 3D): You have experience in creating project layouts and As-Built drawings using AutoCAD in various formats.
• Generate BOQ from designs given by clients and prepare solutions in line with the industry standards.
• Make necessary changes in designs and prepare as-build drawings in Autocad.
• Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our ELV and Telecommunication solutions.
• Provide expert advice to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns, and guiding them toward optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with the project management and engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of proposed solutions.
• Assist in the creation of accurate and persuasive technical content for proposals, bids, and sales collateral.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices within the ELV and Telecommunication sector.
• Contribute insights and feedback from client interactions to the product development and engineering teams for continuous improvement.
• Represent us at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, showcasing our expertise and building relationships.
• Coordinated with materials delivery on site: You've been responsible for coordinating the delivery of materials and equipment required for ELV system installation.
Qualifications:
• Preferred but not compulsory - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or similar technical pre-sales role within the ELV and Telecommunication industry.
• Having relevant UAE experience.
• Strong knowledge of ELV and Telecommunication system, including but not limited to fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, public address systems, structured cabling, gate barrier system and audio-visual systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Proficiency in preparing and delivering technical designs, submittals, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to architect creative solutions that meet unique client needs.
• Familiarity with ERP and sales tools to manage customer interactions and sales activities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients and attend industry events.
