Business Industry: Elevators, Escalators and Moving Walkways Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and fit elevator systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control components, according to specifications, blueprints, and safety guidelines.
- Assemble elevator components, such as guide rails, car frames, platforms, doors, and control panels, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Perform electrical wiring and connections, including control systems, switches, sensors, and lighting fixtures, following electrical diagrams and safety regulations.
- Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies throughout the installation and fitting processes, ensuring the highest level of safety for both technicians and end-users.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on elevator systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and malfunctions during the fitting process, utilizing diagnostic tools and following appropriate procedures to rectify problems promptly.
- Conduct quality inspections during installation and fitting processes to verify proper alignment, fitting, and functionality of elevator components. Address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of installations, inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs, including documenting any changes or modifications made during the fitting process.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals, including engineers, project managers, and other technicians, to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient installation and maintenance processes.
- Provide training and support to clients and end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of elevators, as well as safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training in elevator technology or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an elevator technician fitter or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of elevator systems and components.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in fitting and assembling elevator components, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Good Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment or components.
- Coordinate for all Testing & commissioning & Third Party
- Must have both Elevator & Escalator Knowledge
- Knowledge of Monarch NICE 3000 is a plus
- 24\xc3\x977 Breakdown Attendance
- Preventive Maintenance
- Plan for scheduling maintenance visits.
- data entry of all visits and record any major maintenance
- Co-ordinate with clients for Third Party Inspections
- Write Maintenance Reports
- Coordinate to source parts for the project
- Must have good communication skills
- Proficient in English, writing and speaking.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
