Job description
The Electronics Technician (PCB Manufacturing Assembly) is responsible for assembling and testing in-house produced PCBs, ensuring correct machine setups, Programming, First Off Product sign-offs, and running production volumes in Military or Defence Industry. Responsibilities include identifying and repairing assembly defects, conducting preventive maintenance, and maintaining records.
Key duties involve:
• Reading blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions to identify components and materials.
• Testing PCBs with appropriate devices for efficiency and functionality.
• •Programming and operating PCB assembly equipment (PCB, PCBA, CCA, ECA, PWBA, SMT, THL, ESD, FOD, IPC, IPC-A-610, FOD, ESD, Soldering, Stencil Printers, Pick and Place, Reflow Ovens, etc.) to ensure high output and minimal quality issues. •
• Managing inventory during the Work Order process.
• Ensuring assembled products meet specifications and comparing them to the Customer BoM.
• Inspecting PCB assemblies for defects and conducting in-circuit tests for shorts, resistance, and capacitance.
• Analyzing and repairing failures using hand tools and electronic test equipment, including component-level repairs compliant with IPC Class III soldering standards.
• Sending non-compliant equipment back for re-assembly.
• Performing routine corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintaining logs of defective boards and documenting procedures.
• Keeping workstations clean and organized based on 5S principles.
• Complying with safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements:
• 3 years of experience in electronic PCB assembly in Manufacturing unit and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Manufacturing environment experience and PCB Technician certification.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
