Job Description

* The Electronics Technician Maintenance II reports to the Site Manager. An Electronics Tech II's primary duties include but not limited to: * Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems/tasks by interpreting manufactures manuals, schematics or similar documents. * Performs such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits, repairing complex electronic equipment, and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, oscilloscopes etc. * Be knowledgeable on computer systems/operations and able to competently function/operate in a computer rich environment * Work requires familiarity with the interrelationship of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and test equipment. * May provide guidance to lower level technicians. * Perform comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance activities to simulation equipment. * Work any shift and weekends as specified by Contract for this site. * Perform other duties as assigned. * An Electronics Technician, Maintenance II, shall demonstrate competence through satisfactory progressive performance as a simulator technician. * Minimum experience shall include four (4) years simulator maintenance, or equivalent and shall be a graduate from a two (2) year resident Electronics Technician course at an accredited technical institute or the equivalent. * Technician must demonstrate maintenance experience on simulator computer systems or equal in complexity to those computer systems outlined in the PWS. * The applicant must be a US citizen, possess the ability to obtain a US passport and must have and maintain a valid driver's license. * Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a minimum of a SECRET clearance for access to classified information * Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English. * Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb 2 flights of stairs is required. * Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds.The ability to cope with stressful situations. * Must present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress at all times.
