Job Summary

MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• With great exposure to Manroland, Heidelberg, Komori, Mitsubhishi, Ryobi, KBA, Bobst, Iberica machineries.
• Ability to installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, industrial air compressors, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions.
• Repairs and maintains high voltage systems.
• Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.
• Ability to understand blueprints and specifications
• Creativity and a logical approach to problem-solving
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Knowledge of electrical application for high and low voltage electric system. Skills in both verbal and written communication.

TIMELY JOB FUNCTIONS & ERRANDS

• Be able to adjust and comprehend with additional tasks given by superiors other than the required work responsibilities.
• Be able to work on shifts and likewise, required to follow scheduled duty timings prescribed by the immediate supervisors, conscientiously.
• Ensures that proper notification shall be given to immediate supervisors before the absent date.
• Takes full responsibility on company guidelines relative to proper wearing of uniform, ID cards, shoes, proper grooming and all other related internal policies of the company.
• Makes oneself available for on-call services in cases that the support of maintenance team is needed in the production area.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or diploma holder of its equivalent.
• 3 yrs experience in Printing and Packaging Industry working as Electronic Technician.
• Six (5) years of progressively responsible journey level electrical experience; OR, Vocational graduate on approved technical training program in electrical repair and maintenance and two (2) years electrical experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
