Electromechanical Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, like lubricating and parts, as well as fixing problems when cranes
malfunction. In these cases, they inspect machines and run tests to diagnose problems.
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Assists in repair of DEMAG overhead cranes, welding machines, air compressors, hydraulic and
pneumatic equipment, hot dip galvanizing kettles, boiler, bag houses, production equipment,
transformers, alarms, circuit breakers, etc.
Maintains compliance with OSHA standards, company policies and other federal and state
regulations
Assist in all areas of maintenance as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
Electrical and mechanical knowledge
Experience with welding and torches
Able to work well with team members and independently
Must have high awareness of safety (wear PPE)
Ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions
Must have tools
Experience:
5-7 years of related experience.
2-3 years of gulf experience must
