Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the UAE, particularly in the interior fit-out sector. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components for interior fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working with electrical wiring, lighting systems, power distribution, and other electrical installations specific to interior environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Electrical Installations : Install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, power distribution systems, and other electrical components in accordance with project specifications and local electrical codes.
• Fit-Out Projects : Work on interior fit-out projects, ensuring that electrical systems are seamlessly integrated into the overall design and function of commercial, residential, or retail spaces.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs : Diagnose and repair electrical issues in existing systems, providing solutions to restore functionality and ensure safety.
• Testing & Commissioning : Perform electrical testing and inspections, ensuring that installations meet quality standards and safety regulations. Assist in the commissioning and handover of systems.
• Safety Compliance : Follow strict safety procedures and regulations while performing electrical work. Ensure that all electrical installations comply with the UAE's health and safety standards.
• Maintenance : Conduct regular maintenance checks on electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure reliable operation.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the project manager, interior designers, and other tradespeople to ensure that electrical installations align with the overall fit-out design and deadlines.
• Documentation : Keep accurate records of electrical installations, modifications, inspections, and maintenance work performed, as well as any issues encountered.
• Material Handling : Ensure proper handling and installation of electrical materials, ensuring they are used efficiently and safely.
• Customer Interaction : In some cases, interact directly with clients, offering professional advice and ensuring customer satisfaction with electrical work completed.

Skills & Qualifications :

• Experience : At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an electrician in interior fit-out projects in the UAE.
• Technical Knowledge : Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage systems relevant to interior fit-outs.
• Familiarity with UAE Codes : Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations in the UAE, ensuring all work is compliant with local standards.
• Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems in a timely manner.
• Safety Knowledge : Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations related to electrical installations and maintenance in construction sites.
• Tools & Equipment : Proficient in using various electrical tools and equipment such as multimeters, cable cutters, testers, and power drills.
• Teamwork & Collaboration : Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other electricians, contractors, and interior designers.
• Communication Skills : Good verbal and written communication skills to report progress, document work, and communicate with project teams and clients.
• Time Management : Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising on safety or quality.
