A Hotel is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems, repairs, and installations in a commercial setting. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests by maintaining all electrical systems within the hotel. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, wiring, and control systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations. - Install new electrical systems and equipment as required. - Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. - Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address complex issues and complete larger projects. - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties. - Respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular working hours as needed. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred. - Valid electrician's license or certification. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably in a hotel or similar environment. - Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
