Job Description

Electrician

Ensure that all Electrical work within the facilities is maintained and working in order. Demonstrates proficiency in the routine operations and maintenance of building electrical systems as per Engineering standards. Participates in the installation, testing, commissioning and re-deployment of all building / site electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Installs maintains, and repairs lighting fixtures (streetlights, indoor lights, parking lights...etc), electrical panels, outlets and wiring, and DBs redressing.
Handle Preventive maintenance by the PPM task list for LV rooms, SMDB, DB, MCC panel, all related control panels and electric service rooms, and check all cable glands and breakers.
Operates power hand tools and other specialized electrical equipment.
Installs, repairs, and maintains specialized electrical equipment and machinery.
Constructs and maintains service equipment.
Reads electrical circuit diagrams.
Ensures that all preventive & corrective maintenance tasks related to electrical systems & controls are performed in conformity with the prescribed work methods, quality standards & safety guidelines.
Tests & verifies alarm status of assigned electrical equipment to comply with routine inspection requirements & standards.
Previews drawings, check the technical data relating to completion and acceptance of new buildings, examines and reviews with superiors the installation snags, and follows up as required. Interfaces as required with the Contractor\'s field personnel on day to resolve site issues/concerns.
Ensures regular updating & maintenance of plant history, timecards, fixed asset inventory & other pertinent records, files & documents.
Updates maintains & ensures the accuracy of maintenance logs for assigned equipment or machinery in accordance with maintenance standards & procedures.
Operates power hand tools and other specialized electrical-related equipment.
Installs, repairs, and maintains specialized equipment and machinery.
Coordinates closely with BMS personnel to identify maintenance needs & actions as appropriate.
Attends to call-out duties as required to promptly address electrical faults or equipment/machinery/system (including assistance specialists\' contractors for ELV-related items) breakdown.
Updates, maintains, and ensures the accuracy of maintenance logs for assigned equipment or machinery.
Interfaces effectively with other Engineering sections to ensure adequate cross-functional support for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Respond to emergencies to resolve issues on an immediate basis.
Installs conductors, splices cable, build terminations, and does necessary hook-up for primary power lines.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.

Qualifications

ITI or diploma or any Electrical-related courses.

At least (2) - (5) years\' experience is a relevant field.
