Job Description

To assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment,
appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

To diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test
equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the
problem.

To connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

To inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards,
defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with
codes.

To advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be
hazardous.

To install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and a
associated electrical equipment.

To inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers,
transfer switches and switch gears.

To complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs.

To run computer cables, connect computer jacks and plugs and test for adequate
operation.

To utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to
complete assigned projects.

To survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.

To diagnose and repair electrical problems in all electrical systems, including fault-
finding, rewiring, and monitoring.

To assess the parts needed for a job and place orders for those parts.

To conduct routine maintenance and testing on electrical systems, and ensure
installations are to manufacturer standards, including in fire alarms and security
systems.

To rewire faulty electrical systems, such as lighting, heating systems, and alarms.

To ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company.

To work alone to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems without
receiving explicit direction

To provide exceptional customer service and answer any customer questions.

To install electrical systems to wiring regulations, including installing heating and
cooling systems.

To provide professional assessments and advice for customers.

To possess working knowledge of Building Management Systems and lighting
systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,300.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
