JOB DESCRIPTION:

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting fixtures in compliance with local and national electrical codes. Assemble and install electrical or electronic components and systems for machinery, buildings, or equipment. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, equipment, and components using testing devices like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools. Perform repairs or replacement of faulty wiring, circuit breakers, fuses, switches, and other electrical components. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or technical diagrams to plan electrical installations or repairs. Adhere to safety protocols, and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Report issues and solutions to supervisors or engineers when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

With 3 years experience in UAE. Optional certifications from organizations like the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) or International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).

Technical knowledge

of electrical theory, wiring, circuits, and systems.

Blueprint reading

: Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics.

Attention to detail

to identify and fix issues efficiently.

Problem-solving

skills to diagnose and repair electrical faults.

Safety consciousness

, knowledge of relevant safety protocols, and regulations. Willingness to work in varying conditions, such as indoors, outdoors environments. Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and customers.
