Executes regular inspections on lights, power outlets, and all related electrical systems such as the distribution boards, substation, etc. as per the electrical checklist.
Notes all required spare parts and consumable material and instructs the storekeeper of the requirements
Operates electrical equipment such as pumps, blowers, air handling units, etc.
Fully complies with the energy conservation program.
Understand and operate electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
Ability to read and understand test equipment, measuring devices, and safety manuals.
Perform maintenance activities in the guest room like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, and repairing all types of hardware, and electrical equipment including lamps,
, and AC ducts. * Perform maintenance activities in like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, and repairing all types of hardware, plumbing, and electrical equipment and cosmetic items. * Perform Domestic water and pool water daily chemical test and ensure the chemical levels are in line with DM standard.
Perform Shower disinfection job in the guest room and update and record.
Program TVs and perform general
and engineering-related inventory duties. * Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment.
To clean, lubricate, protect, and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel.
To operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems, identifying
of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality. * To be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering capacity to protect guests and associates and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency.
Read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical parts breakdowns.
Performs other duties as assigned by Duty Engineer or Chief engineer.
