We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for independently performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and repair and maintenance of all electrical components, including wiring, alternators, and lighting systems. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in electrical work, preferably within an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independently conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and components.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including wiring, alternators, lights, and other related components.
• Perform routine inspections and assessments to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of electrical maintenance tasks.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems effectively.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, safety regulations, and technical advancements in electrical systems.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior electricians as needed.
Qualifications
• Diploma in Auto Electric Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Additional Information
• Certification in electrical work or related fields.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems and equipment.
