This position is a unique opportunity to be involved in Distributed Generation (rooftops) solar projects. This position entails supervising Operation and Maintenance of Solar Plants across multiple locations in Dubai and assisting the Lead Engineer in electrical works, troubleshooting and other activities.Technical\xc2\xb7 Assist Lead Engineer in planning and supervising solar panels cleaning and preventive maintenance activities\xc2\xb7 Assist Lead Engineer in monitoring on multiple solar project sites on VCOM (Meteo Control) monitoring system\xc2\xb7 Carries out routine preventive maintenance of electrical and solar equipment according to schedules, check lists and specific equipment requirements\xc2\xb7 Assists in planning annual shutdown and major equipment turnarounds and carries out a complete overhaul of Electrical equipment.\xc2\xb7 Reassembles and tests equipment in accordance with requirements or tests schedules.\xc2\xb7 Assist in the monitoring of electrical equipment for its healthiness.\xc2\xb7 Contribution to Continuous Improvement by providing suggestions, initiating modifications to Improve Reliability of Equipment/ Process, Improve Safety, Improve Maintainability, Reduce Cost.\xc2\xb7 Perform Technical investigation to determine the root cause of failure.\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the inspection of equipment used in cleaning activities (Motorized Brushes & Robots).Reporting and Documentation\xc2\xb7 Process work orders and service reports assigned by Project Coordinator\xc2\xb7 Assist Lead Engineer in preparing documents and data for the Monthly O&M and HSE reports submitted to the client\xc2\xb7 Maintain history cards for the electrical equipment\xc2\xb7 Assist Lead Engineer in prepare each sites Method Statements for cleaning and maintenance activities and other documentation required per siteHSE\xc2\xb7 Strict Adherence to Plants Safety Protocols & Good housekeeping\xc2\xb7 Process Permit to Work requirements for each activity and each project site\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the support of Company Safety, Environment and Quality policies and programs, and carrying out specific duties and responsibilities related to the job as spelt out in Management system documentation, policies, proceduresProfileYou must have a diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position in the Solar Electrical IndustryYou must have good verbal and written communication skills in EnglishYou must have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsYou must have a good understanding of HSE specifically on electrical safetyYou must have a good understanding of Solar SystemsYou must be capable of giving strong attention to details and problem-solving skillsYou must be in good physical healthYou must have good management skillsWorking at SPIEWhat can we offer you?We can offer Medical insurance and working with Leading company in Solar ProjectsPosition locationLocationDubaiCandidate criteriaMinimum level of experience required3 years or moreRequired authorisations
