Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Electrical Supervisor with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the UAE interior fit-out sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all electrical works related to interior fit-out projects, ensuring the installation and maintenance of electrical systems meet both technical and safety standards. The Electrical Supervisor will lead a team of electricians, coordinate with project managers and other departments, and ensure that all work complies with UAE regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Team Leadership & Supervision : Supervise and manage a team of electricians during the electrical installation, maintenance, and modification of interior fit-out projects, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and according to the project schedule.
• Electrical Installations : Oversee the installation of lighting, power distribution systems, outlets, switches, and other electrical components specific to interior spaces, ensuring quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordination with Project Teams : Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and project managers to understand the project requirements, providing electrical input and ensuring smooth integration of electrical systems within the overall interior design.
• Quality Control & Safety : Ensure all electrical installations meet the required quality standards and adhere to the highest safety protocols, minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs : Lead the troubleshooting of electrical issues within the interior fit-out project, including the diagnosis of faults and implementing corrective actions.
• Testing & Commissioning : Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems and components, ensuring functionality and safety. Coordinate commissioning and handover processes with the client.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including installation reports, inspection certificates, and safety logs. Provide regular updates to the project manager and client.
• Vendor & Supplier Coordination : Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement of electrical materials and components required for the project.
• Training & Development : Provide guidance and training to junior electricians, ensuring the team's skillset remains current with the latest electrical standards and technologies relevant to interior fit-outs.
• Compliance & Regulations : Ensure adherence to local electrical codes and standards (UAE regulations) and make sure that all electrical systems comply with safety standards and industry best practices.

Skills & Qualifications :

• Experience : Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an electrical supervisor in the UAE interior fit-out or construction industry.
• Technical Knowledge : In-depth understanding of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, wiring, and low-voltage systems in the context of interior fit-outs.
• Project Management : Ability to manage electrical work within tight project timelines, ensuring that the team remains on schedule and meets deadlines.
• Leadership Skills : Proven experience in leading and managing a team of electricians, ensuring high standards of performance, safety, and quality.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Health & Safety Awareness : Knowledge of local safety regulations (UAE standards) and the ability to enforce safety measures on site.
• Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Certifications : Relevant electrical certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) or equivalent are desirable.
• Language : Proficiency in English & Hindi

Preferred Qualifications :

• UAE Driving License : A valid UAE driving license is a plus for site visits.
• Education : A technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if you have sufficient experience.
• Experience with Interior Fit-Out Projects : Familiarity with the specific requirements and challenges of electrical works in the interior fit-out industry, including lighting design and automation systems.
