Job Title: Electrical Project/Planning Engineer for Oil and Gas EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning) Projects.

: Execution of electrical EPC projects from inception to completion. Your primary responsibility will be to develop comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, engineering deliverables, installation methodologies, progress reports, work inspection & completion reports, payment & invoice records, and strategies in alignment with project goals and client requirements. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient coordination and timely delivery of electrical engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Develop detailed project execution plans and schedules for execution of assigned projects, considering project scope, budget, and timeline constraints. Utilize project management tools and software to monitor progress and identify potential risks or delays. Prepare project progress reports, ensure project a satisfactory project execution, handover & obtain the completion certificate. Engineering: conduct necessary engineering activities required for the project, assign engineering consultancy, technical bid evaluation, engineering document review & ensure timely & effective completion of engineering. Procurement & construction: do the procurement & construction or installation activities inline the project scope & specification. Prepare the installation schedules/methodologies/ inspection & testing/commissioning procedures/plans. Ensure the installation is in line with project specification & quality standards. Resource Allocation: Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams to allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, for work execution. Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and guidance in electrical engineering principles, standards, and practices. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review electrical designs, specifications, and drawings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Communication and Coordination: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients. Provide regular project updates and reports on electrical engineering progress, milestones, and key performance indicators. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the electrical engineering function. Recommend innovative solutions and best practices to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Minimum 5 years of work experience. Previous work experience in execution of EPC projects in QatarEnergy or its subsidiary entities. Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project). Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components, including power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients and stakeholders. Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., Shell DEP, QATARENERGY Electrical specifications, NEC, IEC, KAHRAMAA etc.) Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship in all aspects of project planning and execution.
