Our school client is looking for experienced Teachers to teach Engineering Subjects in the Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic and Mechatronic programs of Secondary and Vocational Schools . Must be capable of analyzing the needs and project requirements to create a design. Able to determine the types of equipment and tools needed to do the job. Awareness of safety procedure to be followed while handling a particular tool or operating equipment. Capable of constructing models and prototypes, using a range of techniques, tools and materials.Teachers are subject matter experts whose primary role is to teach courses in which they are experts, to students in a practical learner centred environment. The aim of the curriculum is to help students develop the basic mathematics, science, mechatronics engineering technology and practical skills necessary to function effectively in an international work environment. To implement and realize curriculum in a student-centred environment. Every faculty member is encouraged to provide ideas and suggestions leading to continuous improvement of local teaching and learning practices and encourage alignment of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment practices with instructional and delivery methods, in line with related performance improvement standards and program learning outcomes. Responsibilities are below:- The preparation and delivery of lectures and laboratories - Responsible for the conduct of tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, and/or student field excursions - Acting as a student advocate where appropriate - Involvement in professional activity - Consultation with students - Marking and assessment creation - Production of teaching materials for students for whom the faculty member has responsibility - Development of course material with appropriate guidance from the program coordinator - Limited administrative functions primarily connected with courses in which the faculty member teaches - Recommending relevant changes to the curriculum committee as appropriate - Attendance at divisional/unit meetings, faculty meetings, and membership in committees - Ensuring own professional development by seeking learning opportunities as appropriate - Performs other duties assigned by the Head of the departmentRequired Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering - Master degree preferred in one of above subjects required from one of the following countries due to Visa Restrictions: UK, US, IR, CA, AU, NZ, ZA - PHd in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering an asset - Industrial experience and Certificates an asset - Excellent English Communication skills and able to pass an IELTS exam with a score of 7Required Experience: - Must have minimum 3 years teaching experience in a similar program in Secondary or Vocational Schools - Background in Manufacturing or Mechatronics an Asset - Industrial practical experience an assetREQUIREMENTSCandidates should have experience in the following areas:Mechanical: - Skilled in at least two of the following areas: - Manufacturing using lathe and milling machines - CNC Programming and Manufacturing - CAD Software - Hydraulic and Pneumatic System Hardward and Simulation Software - Creativity in mechanical assemblyElectrical: - Comfortable in using simulation software to virtually build and test circuits and projects. - Wiring, and installing basic electrical and electronic circuits and hardware. - Skilled in at least two of the following areas : - Microprocessor hardware and software - PLC hardware and software - Electrical installations preferably including motor control - Electrical machines: AC and DC motors and generators - Measurement and Data Acquisition systems: hardware and software - Assembling electrical/electronic projects with creativity - Monthly Salary Range: - TAX FREE Monthly Salary is AED 11,998 to 13,500 depending on qualifications, experience and programHousing: - Housing allowance: AED 8,300 to 13,000 per month (depends on the campus location and marital status) - First 29 days employee stays in a hotel suite.
