Industry: Cement ManufacturingJob Purpose:

• Responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and equipment used in cement production.
• This includes ensuring uninterrupted power supply and optimizing electrical systems to support plant operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance of all electrical systems such as motors, switchgear, transformers, generators, and panels.
• Ensure all electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and control systems are functioning properly.
• Monitor and manage the plant\'s power distribution and backup power systems.
• Identify opportunities for energy savings and efficiency improvement in electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical systems maintenance, downtime, repairs, and performance reports.
• Monitor and manage inventory of critical electrical systems - electrical spare parts and consumables.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all electrical activities.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate safety measures.
• Collaborate with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department to address safety concerns and implement necessary improvements.
• Stay updated with industry standards and best practices related to electrical systems.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of work experience in white/grey cement.
• Understanding of ISO 90001.
• Conversant with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP/ERP.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) for coordination with internal and external stakeholders, as well as planning and organizing skills.
