We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in testing and commissioning of electrical systems, particularly in the UAE market. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in conducting live tests, including:

• Lightening and power loop impedance tests

• Insulation tests

• Earth leakage tests

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits to inspect and test electrical installations

• Identify and report on defects or non-compliances

• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems, including LV, MV, and HV networks

• Troubleshoot and fault-find electrical issues

• Collaborate with contractors and clients to resolve technical issues

• Maintain accurate records of testing and commissioning activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical testing and commissioning, preferably in the UAE market

• Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes and regulations (e.g. NES, GEC, AS/NZS)

• Experience with live testing of electrical systems, including lightening and power loop impedance tests, insulation tests, and earth leakage tests

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
