Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, driven Electrical Engineer

(DEWA approved) expert in Revit

with a wealth of industry knowledge. To ensure success, the ideal candidate should be comfortable on-site visits, and attending site meetings and inspections.

The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate ideas, make recommendations, and negotiate project details with their team, subcontractors, and clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Design of ELV building services systems including ICT, Security, Fire alarm, Containment, Audio Visual, telecom, other specialist ELV systems, BMS and energy management systems as assigned.

Maintain, enhance and apply both design and technical knowledge ensuring production of high quality drawings.

Contribute to successful project completion by providing technical services in accordance with project time and quality.

Preparation of ELV design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Participate in the design progress and coordination meetings.

Coordination with other discipline engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process.

Has to provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector and contracting service provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.

Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance with project and engineering requirements.

Supervise the site to insure the design and specification followed at site.

Requirements:

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.

Electrical Engineer must be DEWA Approved.

A minimum of 5 years of building Electrical design in Dubai.

Very strong experience in Autodesk Revit (MEP).

Very strong experience and understanding of the Electrical Engineering design and analysis.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.

Capable to Prepare Load Schedule, SLD.

Great written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work on assigned scope independently

Strong experience in the Construction of Electrical Works for building Projects in UAE/ Dubai.

Comprehensive knowledge of DEWA and RTA Standards and Specifications.

Valid driving license.
