Job Description

:

We are looking for a highly skilled and qualified Electrical Engineer with a DM Approved Certificate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components and will play a key role in designing, testing, and maintaining electrical infrastructure. The candidate must also have the necessary DM (Dubai Municipality) certification, which qualifies them to oversee and manage electrical systems and projects in compliance with Dubai's local regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design & Development :
• Design electrical systems, wiring, and circuits for commercial, industrial, or residential projects.
• Develop electrical plans and layouts based on project requirements and specifications, ensuring compliance with DM regulations.
• Work on the design and integration of electrical control systems, automation, and power distribution systems.
• DM Compliance & Documentation :
• Ensure that all electrical designs and installations comply with the DM regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Submit designs and documentation for DM approval and ensure timely approval for all electrical projects.
• Maintain proper records of DM approvals, permits, and inspection reports for electrical systems.
• Project Management :
• Lead the planning, execution, and commissioning of electrical systems for projects, ensuring they meet DM standards.
• Manage the scheduling and coordination of electrical works with contractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Monitor and supervise electrical installations to ensure proper adherence to technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Testing & Troubleshooting :
• Conduct rigorous testing of electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance with local electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and provide solutions to ensure system reliability and safety.
• Conduct inspections and recommend corrective measures when needed.
• Collaboration & Support :
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure smooth project execution and effective system integration.
• Provide technical support to teams during project implementation and maintenance phases.
• Stay updated with changes in local electrical codes and DM regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications :

• Education :
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience :
• Proven experience in electrical engineering, particularly in design, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Specific experience working with DM regulations and obtaining DM approvals is required.
• Knowledge of electrical design software and tools (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar software).
• Certification :
• DM Approved Certificate (Dubai Municipality approved electrical engineer).
• Additional certifications related to electrical systems, safety, or project management will be a plus.
