Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, driven Electrical Design Engineer (DEWA approved) expert in Revit with a wealth of industry knowledge. To ensure success, the ideal candidate should be comfortable on-site visits, and attending site meetings and inspections.

The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate ideas, make recommendations, and negotiate project details with their team, subcontractors, and clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Electrical Designing for Light & Power Systems
• Cable Sizing for Light, Power & Motor Systems
• Electrical Design including load schedules, wiring diagrams, selection of Electrical Equipments such as Circuit Breakers, Cable Sizing, Voltage Drop Calculation, Distribution Boards, Transformers etc.
• Designing Low Current Systems - Telephone System, CCTV, Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting System, Voice evacuation System, Access Control, Public Address, Back Ground Music (BGM) & SMATV Systems.
• Performing site visits as and when required for Site surveys and inspections
• Maintain, enhance, and apply both design and technical knowledge ensuring the production of high-quality drawings.
• Contribute to successful project completion by providing technical services in accordance with project time and quality.
• Preparation of Electrical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Participate in the design progress and coordination meetings.
• Coordination with other discipline engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process.
• Has to provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance with project and engineering requirements.
• Supervise the site to ensure the design and specifications followed at the site.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
• Electrical Engineer must be DEWA Approved.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of building Electrical design in Dubai.
• Very strong experience in Autodesk Revit (MEP).
• Very strong experience and understanding of Electrical Engineering design and analysis.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on assigned scope independently
• Strong experience in the Construction of Electrical Works for building Projects in UAE/ Dubai.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DEWA, TRA, EHS, and SIRA Standards and Specifications.
• Valid driving license (preferable)
