Job Description

Education and Qualifications:

• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications can be advantageous.
• Professional Certification: Preferably licensed or certified as a Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

• MEP Coordination: Proven experience in MEP coordination within the context of interior design projects. Familiarity with integrating electrical systems into interior layouts and designs.
• Electrical Design: Strong background in designing electrical systems for interior spaces, including lighting, power distribution, and low voltage systems.
• Building Codes and Standards: Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards applicable to interior design projects.

Skills:

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar tools used in interior design.
• Ability to conduct lighting calculations and design lighting layouts that enhance the interior aesthetic and functionality.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with interior designers, architects, and MEP consultants.
• Ability to translate design requirements into electrical system specifications and vice versa.
• Problem Solving and Decision Making:
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems in interior spaces.
• Ability to propose innovative solutions that align with the interior design concept and client preferences.

Responsibilities:

• MEP Integration:
• Coordinate with interior designers and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems with the interior layout and design.
• Address spatial constraints and aesthetic considerations while designing MEP systems.
• Design and Documentation:
• Prepare electrical design drawings and specifications tailored to interior design projects.
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals related to electrical systems.
• Project Support:
• Provide technical support during project execution, including site visits, inspections, and resolving technical queries.
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure accurate installation and implementation of electrical systems.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
