We are currently looking for an experienced

Electrical Engineer

with

1.5 to 2 years of experience

and

Municipality/ADDC approval

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design and Planning:

Develop detailed electrical designs for various projects, ensuring that all designs are compliant with local codes, standards, and regulations. Focus areas may include power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.

Municipality/ADDC Compliance:

Ensure that all electrical systems meet the requirements set by local authorities, particularly the Municipality and ADDC. Prepare the necessary documentation for approval and conduct follow-ups with the relevant authorities.

Site Supervision and Inspection:

Oversee electrical installations on site, ensuring work is being carried out according to design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Coordination with Teams:

Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.

Testing and Commissioning:

Assist with the commissioning of electrical systems and ensure they are operating efficiently and safely. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and provide necessary adjustments.

Project Management Support:

Support the project manager by tracking project timelines, costs, and ensuring electrical work is completed on schedule and within the allocated budget.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Ensure that electrical installations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, performing risk assessments and following standard operating procedures.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of designs, calculations, approvals, and testing results. Provide regular progress reports to management and clients.

Client Interaction:

Participate in client meetings, understand project requirements, and provide technical support and solutions to ensure client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

A minimum of

1.5 to 2 years of experience

as an Electrical Engineer in the construction or electrical industry.

Municipality/ADDC Approval:

Must have valid

Municipality/ADDC certification

for electrical works, confirming approval to design and install electrical systems.

Educational Background:

A

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

or a related field from a recognized institution.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Dialux) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Knowledge of Local Codes:

Strong understanding of

UAE electrical codes

and regulations, including those specific to the Municipality and ADDC.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to identify electrical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Attention to Detail:

A meticulous approach to work, with a strong focus on precision and quality.

Time Management:

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Driver's License:

A

valid UAE driver's license

is preferred.
