Job Description

1.

Design and Development:

o Create detailed electrical designs and engineering documents, such as single-line diagrams, load schedules, and transformer sizing.

o Utilize software tools like AutoCAD for drafting electrical systems.

o Ensure all designs comply with ADDC regulations and international standards.

Project Execution and Supervision:

o Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site.

o Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.

o Conduct site inspections to verify that installations align with design specifications and safety standards.

3.

Regulatory Compliance and Documentation:

o Prepare and submit necessary documentation for ADDC approvals and ensure adherence to local codes.

o Stay updated on changes in local regulations and incorporate them into project plans.

o Develop and maintain comprehensive project reports and records.

4.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

o Perform electrical testing and validation to ensure system functionality and safety.

o Identify and resolve issues in electrical installations and propose effective solutions.

o Implement preventive maintenance strategies to enhance system reliability.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the UAE. Familiarity with ADDC regulations is essential.

Technical Proficiency:

Skilled in electrical design software and tools.

Certifications:

Training or certification in ADDC rules and regulations is highly desirable.
