Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working on villas, commercial, residential, and building projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for villas, commercial, residential, and mixed-use building projects.
• Conduct detailed electrical load calculations, power distribution systems, lighting designs, and cable sizing.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for projects.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams (mechanical, civil) to ensure electrical systems integrate seamlessly within the building design.
• Ensure that electrical installations adhere to local regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., UAE Fire Safety Code, DEWA standards).
• Monitor project timelines, quality, and budget adherence, providing regular updates to project managers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during installation, testing, or operation.
• Assist in procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring optimal selection and quality.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure that electrical work complies with approved designs and specifications.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in villas, commercial, residential, and building projects.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of UAE building codes, DEWA regulations, and industry standards.
• Proficient in using electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• UAE experience is a must.
