Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems design. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of relevant experience in execution of electrical systems for commercial, residential, or industrial buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, security, and other related systems for building projects.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and other technical analyses to support design decisions.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and ensure design feasibility.
• Review contractor submittals and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) during construction phase.
• Provide technical support and guidance during construction, commissioning, and occupancy phases of projects.
• Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical systems design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-4 years of experience in electrical execution with a focus on MEP systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (NEC, NFPA, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
