The Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman to join our team in the construction industry in UAE-Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and completion of electrical designs and construction projects. Responsibilities: - Prepare and develop electrical drawings, plans, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software. - Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure accurate representation of electrical systems in designs. - Review and analyze project specifications, technical drawings, and related documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Contribute to the modification and improvement of existing electrical designs to enhance functionality and efficiency. - Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide support and address any design-related issues or modifications as required. - Maintain accurate records and documentation of electrical designs and revisions for reference and future projects. - Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in electrical design and drafting.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman or similar role in the construction industry. - Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD and REVIT, with a strong understanding of electrical design principles and practices. - In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, including a thorough understanding of building and construction requirements. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and convey technical information clearly. - Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work. - Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing design challenges. - Relevant certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
