Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: UAE

Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years in Electrical Design for Building and Industrial Projects

Responsibilities:

- Design and Development: Create detailed electrical designs and layouts for building and industrial projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems.

- Project Coordination: Work collaboratively with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure designs meet project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.

- Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and equipment lists.

- Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

- Software Proficiency: Utilize relevant software tools for design and documentation, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other specialized electrical design software.

- Vendor Coordination: Interface with equipment vendors and suppliers to specify and procure electrical equipment and materials.

- Quality Assurance: Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of design documents, ensuring high-quality outputs.

- Support: Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and start-up phases of projects, addressing any design-related issues that arise.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience as an electrical design engineer, specifically in building and industrial projects.

- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical design principles, standards, and regulations in building and industrial projects.

- Software Proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.

- UAE/GCC Experience: Prior experience working on building and industrial projects in the UAE or GCC region is highly preferred.

- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design work.

- Communication Skills: Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, architects, and other team members.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve design and technical issues efficiently.

- Education: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
