Electrical Design Engineer

Qualification

• BEng (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering
• Work experience in related field of 5-8 years

Job Responsilibilities

• Able to lead the electrical design on a multi-discipline project.
• Must be able to create and assemble a complete set of electrical construction documents.
• Review and audit construction specifications in Master Spec
• Assist in mentoring the design activities of junior engineers and designers to verify that quality controls and project criteria are met and within budget.
• Creating electrical diagrams and technical drawings for electrical systems
• Using specialized design and drawing software to create electrical system designs
• Collaborating with project managers and other engineers to design, implement, and improve electrical systems
• Conducting research and development activities to come up with new design ideas and technologies
• Testing and validating electrical systems to ensure they meet design specifications and safety standards
• Performing detailed calculations to establish standards , specifications and local authority compliance (DEWA/ADDC)
• Overseeing the installation and operation of electrical systems to ensure they function as designed
• Identifying and resolving design and implementation issues
• Preparing and presenting technical reports and documentation
• Staying up to date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends in electrical engineering
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
