We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with experience in building projects to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing electrical systems that meet project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Electrical System Design:

Design electrical systems for building projects, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, and low voltage systems. Develop detailed electrical design drawings, schematics, and layouts using software like AutoCAD or Revit.

Project Coordination:

Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and other design team members to ensure electrical designs are integrated into the overall project plan. Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights and addressing any electrical design-related concerns.

Technical Documentation:

Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and bill of quantities (BOQ). Ensure all documents are accurate and in compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards.

Compliance and Standards:

Ensure electrical designs comply with local regulations, international standards, and safety guidelines. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure designs are current and efficient.

Vendor Coordination and Support:

Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to specify and procure electrical equipment and materials. Provide technical support during the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of the project.

Qualifications:

Experience:

4-6 years of experience in electrical design for building projects.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software; strong knowledge of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and low voltage systems.

Industry Knowledge:

Thorough understanding of electrical design principles, industry standards, and local regulatory requirements.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Location:

Must be willing to work in Abu Dhabi.
