The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing the electrical systems and components for various projects. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, proficiency in design software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Design all electrical systems ensuring compliance with standards, local regulations, and authority requirements such as DEWA, ADDC, and UAE FIRE CODE.
• Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for all the electrical systems, such as interior and exterior lighting design, small power distribution, cable routing, fire alarm, earthing, and lightning protection.
• Prepare comprehensive electrical design documents, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical reports, utilizing ACAD (AutoCAD), Revit, and Navisworks.
• Handle several electrical design tasks for multiple projects.
• Conduct detailed electrical calculations, including load analysis, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing, utilizing appropriate software tools and engineering principles.
• Collaborate closely with architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into project designs.
• Provide technical guidance to external stakeholders throughout the design and coordination process.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably with a focus on UAE projects.
• In-depth knowledge of local regulations and authority requirements, such as DEWA, ADDC, and UAE FIRE CODE.
• Strong technical capabilities in ACAD (AutoCAD), Revit, and Navisworks for designing and drafting electrical systems.
• Familiarity with electrical load calculations, power distribution, voltage drop analysis, and cable sizing.
• Proficient in using electrical engineering software tools for analysis and design.
• Strong understanding of lighting systems, small power distribution, cable routing, earthing, and lightning protection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux, Generator sizing tools, and ETAP.

Qualifications & Skills Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, ADDC, NFPA, ADQCC, UAE Code and Standards).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or progress toward certification is a plus.
