Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Work within the Technical Division to design, program, and troubleshoot standard Electrical & Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) control panels for pump-sets. Play a pivotal role in establishing Bin Moosa and Daly as a market leader in technology and innovation. Collaborate closely with Sales and the Technical Division to deliver and maintain "best-in-class" technology solutions.

Specific Responsibilities:

Lead the electrical division team and ensure the timely completion of job orders

Design standard electrical control panels, VFD control panels for pump-sets ensuring compliance with industry standards and Project specifications.

Prepare detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, components list, and mechanical layout drawings for pump-sets using CAD software.

Design cost-effective control panels that meet budget requirements for low-cost projects

Develop and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, configure and program VFDs, adjust parameter settings to meet specific application requirements, and integrate control systems with other automation and monitoring systems (BMS)

Perform testing, validation, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control panels, including VFD errors.

Prepare detailed costings for control panels based on the Project specification.

Support sales and technical divisions as required in specifying, designing, commissioning, and servicing complex panels, including value engineering designs to meet customer budget requirements

Prepare compliance statements for electrical specs including VFDs.

Visit Clients/Sites to assess specialized requirements of systems and prepare Design + BOQ based on findings.

Write commissioning and maintenance procedures for electrical control panel installations, including VFDs

Train and mentor Technicians on new Technology, VFD Programming, panel drawings etc.

Review and update existing panel design.

Build a comprehensive database of information and drawings of Mechanical and Electrical equipment supplied to the market.

Qualification

Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

5 Years of hands on experience in a similar role.

30-40 years

Computer skills

Basic computer applications

Language skills

Good communication skills in English and Hindi

Functional skills

1) Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) for creating electrical schematics and drawings

2) Strong knowledge of PLC programming and VFD configuration & troubleshooting.

3) Good organizing skills and methodical work approach.

4) Knowledge of relevant design standards.

5) Ability to read, understand and interpret technical blueprints/ drawings.

6) Strong attention to detail.

7) Team player.
