Electrical Design & Estimation Engineer
Job Description
Review the customer drawing and enlist the required BOQ. Prepare the costing from the price list. Analyze different suppliers to obtain best cost-effective solutions. Prepare Design and costing of Electrical Panel. Prepare Base Design, Details Design Drawing Submittals, O&M Manuals for IEC range of LV equipment including but not limited to LV Switchgear & Controlgear for AC and DC application, Panelboard, Distribution Board, Motor Control Center with starters such as direct online, star-delta, soft starter, VFD, Automatic Power Factor Correction, ATS/AMF Panel, Generator Synchronization Panel, Control Panel, Package SS, Unit SS, LV Bus Duct, Cable Ladder & Tray. Calculate the busbar size required for ETO (Engineered To Order) LV equipment. Reply to customer comments and revise drawings submittal accordingly. Follow up for design submittal approval. Release purchase request for materials. Coordination, planning, scoping, estimation and tracking. Relationship management with clients, consultant, OEM s (Original Equipment Manufacturer) & Ensuring smooth business operations. Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely, meeting customer delivery expectations.
