The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and managing the cost structures associated with our electrical cable products. This role requires a deep understanding of
costing principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities.
Cost Analysis:
Perform detailed cost analysis of electrical cable products, including materials, labor, overhead, and other related costs.
Cost Estimation:
Develop accurate cost estimates for new products, product modifications, and custom orders.
Pricing Strategies:
Assist in the development of pricing strategies that ensure competitive positioning while maintaining profitability.
Data Management:
Maintain and update cost data in the companys ERP system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Reporting:
Prepare and present detailed cost reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the Design, production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment on costing and pricing strategies.
Compliance:
Ensure all costing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.QualificationBachelors degree in Engineering, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the manufacturing or electrical cable industry.Skills:Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
