Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create 3D BIM Models (FAMILY CREATION MANDATORY)
- Coordinate all aspects of the model (Electrical).
- Update the BIM models on a biweekly or monthly basis.
- Collaborate with the scheduling department to build and maintain the 4D BIM model.
- Perform clash detection and resolve all clashes.
- Manage and coordinate external 3D presentations to the client.
- Revit modeling for electrical discipline.
- Work under the direction of design professionals and BIM manager.
- Ensure construction documents\' accuracy based on discipline Revit modeling.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines\' design-changes and model challenges.
- Adhere to Revit project workflow criteria.
- Follow Revit content standards and development procedures.
- May take the lead on developing some discipline-specific Revit modeling content for project.
- Print drawing sets for professional teams and participate in discipline reviews.
- Prepare own discipline model and/or content for Revit coordination meetings.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the same position
- Contracting company experience
- Excellent understanding of Electrical BIM procedures, strategies, and workflow.
- Proficient in Revit software
- On-site construction experience would be desirable
- Strong written, verbal communication in English is essential.
