Electrical Bim Modeler
Job Description
Electrical BIM Modeler (Preferably Oil & Gas Experience, not mandatory):
• Develop detailed BIM models for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems.
• Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD and Revit) and Building Information Modelling (BIM360)
• Coordinate with project teams to understand project requirements and design intent.
• Interpret 2D drawings, specifications, and other project documents to create 3D BIM models using Revit or other BIM software.
• Ensure that BIM models accurately represent the design intent and comply with industry standards and codes.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and coordination issues.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and assist in clash detection and resolution.
• Generate accurate quantity takeoffs and assist in cost estimation.
• Maintain organized file structures and adhere to company BIM standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry trends.
• Create 3D BIM Models (FAMILY CREATION MANDATORY)
• Coordinate all aspects of the model (Electrical).
