Job Description

Job duties and responsibilities

• All written procedures shall have embedded safety-working culture and be clear to non-expert readers.
• Responsible to compare existing Preventive Maintenance Assurance Routine (PMAR) with plant Safety Analysis Function Evaluation (SAFE) charts and maintenance strategies to ensure all safety critical functions are included in the relevant PMAR.
• Review the control narratives and updates existing Preventive Maintenance Routine (PMR) and Preventive Maintenance Assurance Routine (PMAR).
• Compile comprehensive list of Bill of Material (BoM) to be included in Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
• Develop comprehensive execution steps and relevant job planning steps in effective completion of maintenance routine / procedure ensuring repeatability and yielding the same results. The level of detail should support the ability to analyze anomalies or failures, derive corrective actions and repeat the procedure with a level of confidence to prove the effectiveness of the corrective actions.
• As a part of the work, gather any pertinent background information, identify applicable technical, regulatory, and administrative requirements, such as Technical / Operational Safety Requirements, specific safety limits, risks or facility limits that could be impacted in using these procedures. This also includes vendor and facility information, technical literature (drawings, dossiers, or engineering specifications) lessons learned and root cause analysis.
• Assist in developing the set point register for plant equipment through use of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS), data files and plant Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID).
• Support the discipline engineers in coordinating maintenance activities including minor projects, preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance. This will include managing materials, planning and mobilization.
• Responsible to carry out review on the effectiveness maintenance PMR / PMAR and propose update to address weaknesses and shortcomings.

Job qualifications/requirements

• Minimum 15 years' relevant experience in the oil and gas industry in a technical role with frontline maintenance / maintenance execution role.
• 5 years' experience in technical writing and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Preferably candidates with a technical engineering diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of computer applications software such as Microsoft Office and Oracle (ERP) systems.
• Good written and verbal knowledge of English.
• In depth knowledge of controls and instrumentation of oil and gas industry, including but not limited to turbo machinery controls, wellhead, fire and gas, analyzers, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS) and process controls.
