They have an enviable portfolio of projects across the last 15 years. Due to continuous project awards, they are looking to expand their Estimating department.Fit Out Estimator positionSalary packages are dependent on the individual.Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates; detailed BOM, BOQ, Rate analysis based on design, drawing, site survey and relevant contract documents for Interior Fit Out projects, including materials, labor, equipment and subcontractor services.
• Quantity Takeoff: Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications to determine the quantities of materials required.
• Tender Evaluation: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Tender Preparation: Prepare competitive bids and proposals for tenders, ensuring compliance with client requirements and specifications.
• Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and quotations for materials and services.
• Value Engineering: Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize project designs and specifications for cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or performance.
• Cost Control: Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project, identify variances from the estimated budget and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
• Variation Management: Evaluate and manage variations in project scope and cost, negotiating with clients and subcontractors as necessary.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
• Should be able to handle both pre and post contract work, review the scope of works along with contract terms and conditions, and to prepare bill of materials/quantity take off/variations/invoicing, cost management etc.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, pricing, and new technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years UAE experience in Cost Estimation and Quantity Surveying within an Interior Decoration and Fit out Industry.
• Proven experience in Estimation of high-end medium to large interior fit-out projects
• Strong market knowledge of materials, suppliers & subcontractors, Aware of industry prices.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and excellent understanding of Fit Out process.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates and documentation.
• Familiarity with UAE standards, codes and regulations related to Interior Fit Out Process.
• Good at Negotiation, Excellent problem-solving skills required.
• Able to work under pressure, with less supervision.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Valid UAE Driving License
