We are seeking a skilled E&I Engineer to join our team for an immediate 3-month project based in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the detailed needs analysis, design, and monitoring of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations, and project requirements.

Responsibilities:

Needs Analysis:

• Estimate electrical consumption for various elements of the installation, considering building zones, device requirements, and routing circuits.
• Understand operational needs and constraints beyond electrical power, focusing on quality and efficiency improvements.
• Study existing setups to propose and implement cost-effective technical solutions.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, safety standards, and technological innovations.

Design of the Electrical Installation:

• Develop principle diagrams summarizing power requirements (HV and LV), considering power sources and operational constraints.
• Create layout plans and electrical diagrams detailing cable lengths, sections, and required protections.
• Specify equipment and materials needed for the installation, including detailed bills of materials.
• Draft technical specifications and execution plans, evaluating supplier offers for technical and economic feasibility.
• Estimate project costs and timelines accurately.

Monitoring Execution:

• Ensure compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead technical meetings and provide guidance during project execution phases.
• Offer technical support, adjusting plans as needed to accommodate site-specific constraints or emerging requirements.
• Participate in commissioning activities and conduct technical inspections onsite.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation for knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.



Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent engineering diploma with specialization in electronics, electrical engineering, or electrotechnics.
• Expertise in technologies such as furnaces, incinerators, waste recovery installations, or related industrial processes.
• Strong knowledge of industrial risks and methods for risk analysis.
• Methodical approach with proactive problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including technical proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
