Job Description

Design & Implementation: Develop electrical and instrumentation (E&I) designs, schematics, and layouts for industrial projects. Equipment Installation & Commissioning: Oversee installation, calibration, and commissioning of electrical panels, control systems, sensors, transmitters, and PLCs. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring minimal downtime. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical and instrumentation work complies with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ISO 17025, ATEX) and safety regulations. Project Management: Manage E&I projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely execution. PLC & SCADA Systems: Work with PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems for process automation, programming, and troubleshooting. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation, including P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and calibration records. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process optimizations to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Qualification required

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in E&I engineering within industrial sectors. Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems, Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and instrumentation devices, Experience with calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of pressure, temperature, and flow instruments, Knowledge of hazardous area classifications and intrinsically safe systems.*
Software Proficiency: AutoCAD (for electrical & instrumentation drawings), ETAP, MATLAB, or similar design and simulation tools.*
Certifications (Preferred): ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST), IECEx/ATEX Certification for hazardous areas, ISO 17025 training (for instrumentation calibration)*
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in an industrial environment.*

Work Environment

:

Field and office-based work, involving site visits, troubleshooting, and project execution. Exposure to industrial environments such as refineries, power plants, and manufacturing facilities. Interaction with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, automation, and process engineers.
