The EHS Audit and Environmental Compliance Leader must be able to partner effectively with Company leaders and Business Unit EHS Leaders, across GE Vernova, to manage expectations and to align on strategy and governance control to best prioritize initiatives in alignment with BUs based on risk to ensure focused execution. They will lead the development and implementation of the GE Vernova EHS Audit programs, goals, values and other factors; streamlining procedures and processes while improving program effectiveness and increasing collaboration and synergy with procurement and external audit contractors.This leader will report to the EHS Compliance Leader and will work to safeguard GE Vernova in accordance with legal requirements such as Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (US), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 2021, CSRD/TSRD EU Directives, CSR EU Directive2014/95/EU, REACH, RoHS/WEEE, Conflict Mineral, and OSHA/EU OSHA. They will also be responsible for conducting internal and external audits for compliance assurance with the GE Vernova EHS Governance Program. The EHS Audit and Environmental Compliance Leader will support cross business communities of EHS P&L lead auditors, collaborate closely with the GE Vernova Legal Counsel, and develop the EHS Governance Audit training program for internal auditors. This role will also cover critical Environmental Compliance processes including Permit Review process, Waste Site Audit program, and support data governance for Waste and Water reporting requirements across GE Vernova.Essential Responsibilities:Develop and implement the EHS Governance Audit training program for internal auditors across GE Vernova in accordance with the EHS Governance Program.
